Deeply loyal to its family, the Aidi is naturally protective and reserved with strangers. It is less a lounging companion and more a working partner that thrives with a job and space to patrol.
History
Native to Morocco's Atlas Mountains, the Aidi has long guarded flocks and camps against predators and intruders. It was also paired with sighthounds like the Sloughi, using its keen nose to locate game the sighthound would then chase.
